In the past 20 years, her work has been featured on both the small and big screen. The most notable was her recognition when she landed her character of Rita in the acclaimed television show The Handmaid's Tale. Brugel played the role of Rita in the Handmaid's Tale, a series that was filmed over ten years ago.
