Anoushka Shankar, a British American singer and musician, is well known for her musical talents. She was among the youngest and the first woman to be awarded an award from the British House of Commons Shield she has had Nine Grammy Awards nominations and was the first artist of Indian of Indian descent to perform live on stage and also be a presenter for the ceremony. Anoushka Sitar Shankar is the Indian young sitar star. She is both the daughter and pupil of Ravi Shankar. Her birthplace was in London in 1982.
