Taylor Swift's full name can be described as Taylor Alison Swift. Taylor Swift was born on the 13th, 1989 in West Reading, Pennsylvania U.S.A. Taylor Swift became an incredibly popular singer and songwriter in early 2001 when she began sharing her stories of love and loss. Swift began showing an enthusiasm for the industry of music at a young age. Her career progressed rapidly from children's play roles, through her first public appearance the presence of thousands. The moment Swift performed The Star-Spangled Banner in front of a Philadelphia 76ers game at age 11 she had already begun writing songs. After that, she began playing guitar. Swift took inspiration from artists in country music such as Shania Twain, the Dixie Chicks and, more recently, the Chicks to create original material that reflected the loneliness she experienced at 13. Swift's family moved to Tennessee from Pennsylvania when she was thirteen so she could spend more time pursuing country music labels in Nashville.
