Christopher Peter Meloni has been an acclaimed American actor throughout his career. He is most famous for his roles played in "Law & Ordinance Special Victims Unit". At the age of 18, he began to develop an interest in acting. In the University of Colorado at Boulder, he studied acting. He's appeared in TV and films, however it was his small-screen characters which earned him fame and an enormous following. He has the ability to portray both characters from the side of police officers and different. That's what is what makes him so famous. He played the part of a serial killer in his first television series project however he later chose to take on the role as an NYPD detective. He has been nominated multiple times for the prestigious Emmy Awards and the PRISM Awards for his smaller screen appearances. The piercingly blue eyes of his eyes are thought to be his most attractive aspect of his appearance. The eyes have been employed for portraying rough characters, and give them charisma. People's magazine's 2006 list for Sexiest Men Alive included him.
