Christopher Peter Meloni is an American actor who is well-known for his part in the well-known television series 'Law & Order Special Victims Unit. He identified his interest towards acting in his early days at school and attended acting classes at The University of Colorado at Boulder. Though he's appeared in films and television shows, it's his roles on small screens that are gaining him fame. There is no doubt that the actor has an aptitude for being able to play characters from both the side of good and evil. Additionally, he is able to draw an audience. His first project was a TV serial and he then stepped into the role a NYPD detective. His small-screen performances were recognized by multiple Emmy Awards nominations and PRISM Awards.
